are quick pick-me-ups, but usually have short-term influence and can
leave you feeling a lot worse. The heightened blood flow after a workout
can help improve mood. Find out the things that affect you positively, and
then use that information to your benefit.

Controlling Frustration

Since we know that the path to success is paved with challenges, frustration
is a natural outcome of coping. But we need to remember: beyond the
frustration is success, which is why we must find the right way to first
cope with frustration.

Frustration is our personal translation of the reality we find ourselves
in. Therefore frustration, too, can be successfully coped with by applying
a different interpretation to that same reality, such as by exchanging the
frustration for a challenge.

Obstacles are temporary setbacks on the way to success. Frustration
results from not having the knowledge needed to cope with the setback,
whether the setback is a matter of bad luck, another person’s stupidity,

believe they can cope well will cope well. Understand the reason behind
your frustration, define it, and choose a method for handling it which
allows you to recover your calm. Have you ever thought about the way

sticky notes that help keep you positive and hang the notes on your mirror.
Do whatever helps you control your frustration. Only you know what’s
best.

Accepting Responsibility

Did you make a mistake? Blow it? Don’t look for those responsible for your
failure. Take responsibility for your actions. We naturally tend to blame our
parents, teachers, employers, and the government. The starting point for
