Don’t let these stories blind you. Success is achieved through hard

work and boundless determination and commitment. Extraordinary

commitment is what marks unique success stories.
That is also the story of Lionel Messi, the current Number One soccer

player in the world. At age eleven, Messi was diagnosed with a growth

hormone deficiency, or in simple language, dwarfism. When the family
was required to pay some $900 a month for growth hormone treatment,
far above what it could afford, Lionel was forced to find a sponsor. He

was forced to play soccer like no one of his size had ever yet succeeded

in playing, anywhere in the world. His commitment produced results.
At twelve, he was chosen to join Barcelona’s children’s team and earned
the much-needed funding. At seventeen, he made history by being the
youngest player to ever join Barcelona’s all-star adult team. Messi joins
the pantheon of other famed, physically short success stories such as the
basketball player Tyron Bogues (159 cm/5’2), who played fourteen NBA
seasons and was the shortest league player in the history of the NBA.

Control Your Mood

Our moods change from day to day and even from hour to hour. When
we need to apply high levels of attention and concentration, such as when

trading, we must be at our best. Some days we wake up full of energy and

creativity, the world smiles at us, and it seems as though anything we do
works fantastically. Other days, nothing seems to go well, we feel as though
the whole world is against us, and everything we do is doomed.

Have you ever wondered how amazing it could be to just press a button

and turn a bad day into a good one? Well, you can do just that.
First, we must understand where changes in moods originate. Moods are

determined by chemical balances in our brains. The balance is so delicate

that the smallest deviation can change our mood from happy to blue.

Mental balance is impacted, among other things, by such environmental
conditions as weather, strong winds, scents and smells, sounds, taste--all
the information that our five senses can absorb.

Since the dawn of human history, humans have tried to find ways of

controlling moods. These include hypnosis, yoga, religious rites, sports,

drugs: all are among the options we use to alter moods. We are all sensitive

to situations that cause us to shift from one mood to its opposite in almost

no time. Just try and play rap anywhere near me… and see what happens to

me! So, what makes your mood change? And what helps you stay in a good
mood? Music, color, lighting and warmth all affect us. Coffee and chocolate
