Screen Configuration
The Most Basic, Simplest Trading Platform
Configuration
The screen configuration I will demonstrate below is the most basic, suited
to a 12-inch screen. I use this one with a laptop when I am away from
home. The configuration comprises seven different trading windows (to
be explained). The larger your screen, the more windows you will be able
to add.
Example of Basic Configured Windows on One Screen
1 – The Main Stock Chart
On the main stock chart, I display the stock I am following at the time. It
shows five-minute candles [1] of [2] intraday data for a range of two days.
Notice the dashed line [3] separating the two days of trading on the chart.
To see the stock’s daily formation over a longer period, I simply click the
DAY button to the right of the intraday MINUTE button [2].
