These factors, together with several others, have the power to drive

institutional investors to take action. Such action includes extraordinary
announcements, changing recommendations, and macro-economic
announcements which influence the market in general and the stock’s

specific sector in particular.

Generally, the stock price will rise proportionately to sector and

market movement, and any “moving outside the lines” will generally be

possible only through significant economic triggers. During crises or fear

of an upcoming crisis, the market “punishes” stocks which do not follow
their predictions, thus a careful follow-up on stocks showing sharp daily
movements can create good short-term (days) and medium term (weeks)
opportunities.

To find opportunities during the quarterly reports period, you need to

check the date of the particular stock’s report, or simply ready yourself for

any day’s trading by preparing a list of all stocks that interest you. If you

wish to locate the stocks according to the date of their report, a wide range
