that the Dow Jones analysts grade certain banks differently from Merrill
Lynch’s analysts. The symbols in the table above are the most commonly
used among traders, but individual traders may have other preferences.

Integrating Tools

The most successful formula calls for cleverly integrating all the tools
described above. The ideal trade will integrate buying at the correct
technical entry point for the stock, while monitoring the market and the
industry to which the stock belongs. If you choose to buy a stock that is
stronger than the market and that belongs to an industry showing strength
on a day of an up trending market, you will greatly enhance your chances
of success.
